Anything on this issue yet?
Let me make sure I understand this. I don’t know if I am using shortcodes. I am using IDE/Theme 500 with Maximus child theme. Because I am using Maximus the ability to select different skins in the ID Crowdfunding General Settings will not work for me? I will need to get the skin’s CSS and add it to the custom CSS field? Where do I get the skin CSS?
I cut and pasted that code into the Custom CSS field. It didn’t change anything. That header menu is still showing above the footer. The other thing that is strange is that no widget works in the Above The Footer widget area on Maximus. We tried every widget but nothing worked. Is Maximus/Theme 500 supposed to be customizable there?
Still looking for some help as to why my skins don’t change when I select different ones.
I cut and pasted that code into the custom CSS window. Nothing happened. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks for the tips. I appreciate it.
Thanks for the encouragement. However, as I learn more about IDE I am wondering if it will ultimately work for my crowdfunding vision. I do plan to get the entire functionality set up as designed before I modify anything.
The project you tested I set up on the front end yesterday and the set up seemed to all work. I got both emails that it was submitted and that it needed to be reviewed and approved. You say you tested a card and it worked. Does that mean that Stripe is configured correctly? I tried my own card for $1 and it didn’t work. I did see that Pledge amount increased.
I did change the level to $1 and got the Stripe payment page. You said that I need to set the product to $1 also. Do you absolutely have to have a product associated with a level? I don’t plan to offer any kind of products.
Under Project Type it has two buttons, PWYW and Level Based. The PWYW button doesn’t select. I thought from reading other posts that it was just a work in progress but would be working soon. I was assuming that as a donation based site that I could use PWYW and avoid the whole level requirement. Am I wrong in thinking this?
Thanks for taking a look at our site.
I sent it to you via your support email. Thanks.
I was playing with the [project_purchase_form product=”4″] short code in the payment page I created. It displays info for Paypal. Is there a similar short code for Stripe?
I changed the Purchase URL field to Page/Post and selected the payment form I created. It would only show the default page. What am I doing wrong when I clicked through to checkout?
I created a new project on the front end and it loaded the pics and everything looked good. https://ignitiondeck.com/id/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif The PWYW button would not select so I created the project with one level set for $1. I clicked on Pledge and the level appeared and when I clicked on the level I got Step 1 and entered $1. Next took me to a payment page with Stripe this time not Paypal. I don’t know what changed other than I had one level. Will the PWYW button (when it is working) make it so you don’t need to create a level and then click on Pledge to get to Step 1 lightbox?
I found the tab and tried several different settings. All produced the Paypal button.
Maybe I should explain what I am wanting to do. I am trying to create a crowdfunding platform with front end access for fundraisers. It is a donation based crowdfunding site similar to GoFundMe or GiveForward but I have a nitche market I am targeting. I don’t need levels at least initially. I would like to have the “Pledge” button go directly to a payment page. I actually have designed my own page using a forms plugin. I know there is a setting to use a different payment page but that doesn’t seem to work either when I enter my payment page. I would love to use my payment page but I thought I would get the system working as you designed it first and them modify it to fit my ideas.
Right now I do not have any levels or products assigned to my test projects. However, I have created levels and products to test it and that didn’t change the Paypal showing up on the payment page. Currently the only way I can get to a payment page is to click on Pledge, then you see the level area expand but it is blank because I don’t need any levels. If I hold over the left side of that area a highlighted block appears (where a level would go). If I click on that highlighted area it takes me to a lightbox (Step 1) to enter how much (and shows a Contribution Level which I don’t need), enter an amount and click next and then to the payment page with the Paypal button. I haven’t gotten past here so I cannot run any test to confirm my Stripe account settings.
I guess I am asking two questions here:
1- What else should I try to get rid of Paypal and get Stripe working or is there a bug you need to work out?
2- Will the system work (with reasonable modifications) to be a donation/fundraiser platform verse a level/project platform like it appears to be originally designed?
As always, I appreciate your help. Thank you.
I do have ID Commerce selected but still getting Paypal on the purchase page. Any other setting I should check?
Also, I checked the box to receive an email when you guys reply to my forum posts but never have received one for any post I have made. Is this working for others?
Inside of the Payment Account tab seems like a strange place to put it especially with no explanation. You might want to think about including another tab.

Bundled with Font Awesome 4.0
We’ve bundled the whole 240 icon set from Font Awesome directly into Theme 500. Easily add some extra character to your posts and projects with the Font Awesome icon set.
Font Awesome is a pictographic language of web-related actions – basically, it’s a font made of of images instead of letters. You can easily style the icon color, size, shadow, and anything else that’s possible with CSS.
It worked. Thanks.
