    This is a feature we would like to implement, but it’s probably a substantial ways off just because of how many crucial tasks need to happen first.

    What data are you specifically wanting to remove? Users, orders, projects…? It’d probably just be best to ask me right here, as the answer might get a little complex depending on what specifically you’re hoping to clear out.

    Which of our products are you using, and are you updated to the latest version? I believe this was changed a while ago, actually – we had the same privacy concerns.

    Absolutely – just create an ID Commerce Product from IDC main settings > Product Settings. Insert the recurring payment information, and use the shortcode generated for the Product to put it directly in a regular WordPress page or post.

    What I would recommend for that is using our custom WordPress actions md_profile_extrafields and/or md_purchase_extrafields – you can see these actions called in idcommerce/templates/_editProfile.php and _checkoutForm.php, respectively.

    If you search the forum for id_fes, you’ll find posts that go into great detail about customizing the front end project submission form. For adding extra fields on the display side, you’d need to edit the project view in your current theme – which theme are you currently using? The file you’d need to edit can vary depending on the theme, but it’s often going to be single-ignitiondeck_product.php in the theme’s root folder.

    Do you have an URL we could examine? Also, are you using SSL on the pages you’re trying to share? Facebook can struggle with HTTPS links sometimes.

    What do you currently have set as your return URL inside of your iDeal account? Is this URL publicly accessible if you visit directly while not logged in? You might also need to set a “thank you” URL inside of iDeal > Settings

    iDeal is only compatible with Legacy ID mode, which is why it wouldn’t be showing up with ID Commerce active. memberdeck_checkout is an ID Commerce shortcode, while project_purchase_form is for Legacy – they shouldn’t be showing the checkout page for the other commerce platform. Is that truly happening on your site?

    Did you use the project_purchase_form shortcode on the link in your post? Because it looks like it’s using an ID Commerce checkout link, but loading the Legacy checkout form. That shortcode will force legacy mode checkout regardless of the commerce platform selected.

    You would replace everything between the double-quotes that comes after onclick=, and wrap the link for location.href in single quotes.

    onclick="location.href=\''.md_get_durl().$prefix.'create_project=1\'"

    would become

    onclick="location.href='/your/relative/link.php'"

    or possibly

    onclick="location.href='http://www.yourabsolutelink.com/'"

    Our dashboard and membership functionality is bundled into our ID Commerce plugin, so it’d only be active when ID Commerce was selected as the commerce platform over WooCommerce. If you’re sticking with WC, I would recommend perhaps looking for a membership-type extension for WooCommerce. Let me know if you need any more help!

    It won’t know to make any adjustments to the profiles generated by Enterprise – that’s our propriety setup, and right now the only way to use a profile picture there is via Gravatar. The plugin probably integrates with stock WordPress functionality or uses its own profile setup, which wouldn’t necessarily connect to anything from IgnitionDeck. You could certainly try it and see how it works.

    You can find a list of our available shortcodes and how they work here: https://ignitiondeck.com/id/documentation/ignitiondeck-crowdfunding/ignitiondeck-shortcodes/

    For the full project view, you’d want to use the project_page_complete shortcode.

    Under IDCF > Deck Builder, you can create a custom view that could have just the percentage bar if you like. It’ll then add that custom deck to the menu of available decks with a number besides it – you can use that number as the deck ID for any of our shortcodes that accept a custom deck parameter.

    Let me know how that works for you.

    Hi Synergy, have you taken a look at our Valet installation service? That’s probably going to be the quickest way to get up and running. https://ignitiondeck.com/id/ignitiondeck-enterprise-valet/

    This is my first time hearing about this problem, and I’ve been unable to replicate it locally. Did comments always behave this way for you, or did it only start up recently? Do you see anything in your WordPress debug logs that might indicate a problem here?

    Are you managing your own server or are you with a hosting company? This is an indication that you need to either turn off safe mode or change your open_basedir settings inside of your server’s PHP configuration. If you’re currently using a hosting company, I would contact them and see if they can change this for you. Let me know how that goes.

    I did spend some time playing around – I can’t seem to reproduce the problem on any new level/product pairings – which is good! I would strongly recommend you back up your database before you try this, but I am thinking it might be best for you to completely empty the mdid_assignments table in your wordpress database. Specifically empty it – that will still leave the table there, just with no information inside. It should be a total reset of your links that will let you relink everything properly again.

    I went through this process myself on my own test server just to confirm that it works, and everything seems to function as expected. But definitely back up your database before trying this, and let me know if there are any further issues with it.

    Can you try it with some regular pages/posts just to see? If the same problem happens with a regular post, can you try disabling our plugins and seeing if it still happens? We need to determine whether it’s a problem with WordPress itself, our plugins, or perhaps the relationship between the two of them.

    By any chance, does using a different browser make any difference? Do you have any plugins running in your browser which might interfere with that? Which browser/version are you using?

    There’s a loop in that file from line 62-78 that starts out:

    <?php foreach ($levels as $level) { ?>

    This is where it goes through each level one at a time, to render them on the page. So in here is where you’d want to put code to display images as well. Does that help you get started?

    It depends how it works – I’m not familiar with the plugin – does it interface with user management in some way? I doubt it would outright conflict, but the features might not overlap in a way that would actually be useful to you, depending on how it works. How would you like to integrate it with your site?

    We’re constantly working to improve our products to make them more robust; we want to make them easier to work with while still retaining all the power and flexibility that sets it apart. Due to the frequent changes, we favor online html documentation so that it can stay agile with the rest of our product development. Videos could become outdated, sometimes quickly, and that causes its own brand of complaints, so we shy away from it presently.

    1. You can actually find this in your idcommerce javascript files in idcommerce/js/idcommerce.js around line 529.

    3-4. Have you made sure to clear out any caches? Caching can happen in your browser, inside of WordPress, or even server-side. If you try refreshing it several times, does it make any difference?

    6. You have to be very careful not to remove any extra characters outside of the exact text you need to change – even one wrong character will break things. As long as you’re just changing text inside of quotes, it should be okay.

    8. What character set is your mysql database saved in – are you using UTF-8? Does the character display issue only happen when translating for IgnitionDeck plugins or does it happen in other places on your site as well?

    Funds should be sent through to connect accounts just like usual – let us know if you see anything to the contrary on this.

    Out of curiosity, do you see this same behavior on a crowdfunding product/subscription plan which doesn’t have a $ symbol in the title? I’m wondering if it’s perhaps trying to interpret $1 as a programming variable instead of as just text.

    Hi again Alice, I’m following up with you from the WordPress forums. You are correct that the code you want to change is on line 2177 of idcommerce.php. This fix is specifically for the incompatibility with the SEO by Yaost plugin. So just to confirm, after you change this line of code from this:

    $get_array = array('payment_settings', 'backer_profile', 'edit-profile', 'creator_projects', 'mdid_checkout');

    to this:

    $get_array = array('payment_settings', 'backer_profile', 'edit-profile', 'creator_projects', 'mdid_checkout', 'idc_orders');

    there is no change for you – do I understand that correctly?

    It’s true that we don’t sent address information to Authorize.net as it’s not collected as part of the checkout process. Are you able to turn off their address verification service? That should allow the transactions to go through.
