    Ok. Is that a problem other people are experiencing? Or is this only specific to our situation?

    And if it’s only specific to our situation, wouldn’t there be a deeper root cause?

    Thanks Nathan you’re the Man!

    So months ago, the root cause was that there was no Author mentioned in the child theme. Now there is an Author, but you’re saying that the Author has to be “IgnitionDeck”? Because before I think it was just “John Doe”…

    Hey Nathan, thanks for your reply once again, it’s been awhile.

    Earlier today I created a new, blank Child Theme just as a test. All that this new test child theme had was a blank functions.php which enqueues the child style.css. The child style.css is completely blank except for the comments at the top.

    Here is what the functions.php looks like: (the rest of the file is completely blank)

    <?php

      add_action( 'wp_enqueue_scripts', 'enqueue_child_theme_styles', PHP_INT_MAX);

      function enqueue_child_theme_styles() {
       wp_enqueue_style( 'parent-style', get_template_directory_uri().'/style.css' );
       wp_enqueue_style( 'child-style', get_stylesheet_directory_uri() . '/style.css', array( 'parent-style' ) );

      }

    ?>

    Here are what the comments at the top of the child style.css look like: (The rest of the file is completely blank)

    /*
     Theme Name:   500 Framework Child
     Theme URI:    http://example.com/twenty-fifteen-child/
     Description:  500 Framework Child Theme
     Author:       John Doe
     Author URI:   http://example.com
     Template:     fivehundred
     Version:      1.0.0
     License: GNU General Public License v2 or later
     License URI:  http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-2.0.html
     Tags:         light, dark, two-columns, right-sidebar, responsive-layout, accessibility-ready
     Text Domain:  fivehundred-child
    */

    These are the only two files in that Child Theme directory.

    I’m using the 500 Framework theme, but in a child theme. When I switched to the parent theme, it started to work again.

    Another important issue for me right now is that when you create a project, there is no option for start and end date. I remember it being there at the start, but it disappeared. Why would it disappear?

    Great thanks, also the Project is only displaying once now which is good! Please tell me what you did to only get it to display once? And can you tell me exactly what changes I overrode in the template? I want to understand.

    Thanks for working on it, but what exactly did you fix? Those projects still don’t have purchase forms. And on the project page, the project still displays twice, with two different stylings(skins), one above the other. This is for all projects.

    Here is a screen shot of the first styling:

    The second styling:

    Can you help me understand why this is happening?

    No I don’t. Actually I don’t even know where to put a short code for a specific project.

    Also, on the project page, the project displays twice, with two different stylings, one above the other

    Specifically the projects I am having Purchase Form Problems with are “heyheyhey” and “Rahim Santana”. The other ones are working all right. Please help me understand this discrepancy!

    Hey Nathan,

    I disabled Enterprise, re-enabled it and am having the same problems.

    Specifically:

    -Hitting Support Now does not direct to a Purchase Form anymore.
    -On the project page, the project displays twice, with two different stylings, one above the other

    Here is a screen shot of the first styling:
    https://snag.gy/VJt8Ko.jpg

    The second styling:

    Please help thanks!

    Hi Nathan,

    Yeah, within IgnitionDeck -> Project Settings, I don’t see any option that says “auto insert project template”. Neither do I see any option for “current project page”?

    Ok thanks for telling me. But I don’t know which shortcode you’re referring to.

    I’ve looked through all my pages and the only shortcodes I see are on these two pages:

    Dashboard Page – [idc_dashboard]

    Membership Page – [memberdeck_dashboard]

    And also I understand why /all-projects contains the purchase form/checkout. That is because I set it as the “Default Purchase Page” in Project Settings.

    What I don’t understand is why if I were to change the “Default Purchase Page” to the option that just says “Select”, I will get no purchase form. I thought that by default the 500 theme comes with a Purchase Form Page, regardless of selecting a “Default Purchase Page”.

    Thanks!

    Ok, are you referring to the page I have that is called “All Projects”? Because I don’t believe that came by default with the theme. Yes, I did have shortcodes embedded on that page. I just took them off and it seems to be working as the payment page.

    But what’s confusing me is that you seem to be referring to the “Project Page” as some kind of default page whereas I don’t see any page called “Project Page”. I only see “All Projects” which is something I believe I created. I may be wrong about that..

    Ok thanks for clearing that up about the members.

    Hi Nathan,

    I thought that by the default, the 500 theme would have a purchase form set up so that when you hit “Support Now” -> “Next Step”, you would be taken to a Purchase Form. However, that was not the case. It was just a blank page. Maybe because I had previously been using another theme?

    So I went to the Project Settings and started experimenting with changing the Default Purchase Page to custom pages I had created. The confusing thing about this was that the purchase form would only appear when I was logged in as an Admin.

    Only when I changed the Default Purchase Page to a page that came by default with the theme, aka “Sample Page”, did the purchase form work for all registered members. Could you please shed some more light on why this was so?

    Also, I have currently registered several dummy members, however none of them appear in IDC -> Members. Why don’t I see any members?

    Ahh, but the purchase form only works if I am logged in as an Admin. Otherwise it just says “not found”. Any help would be appreciated!

    Ok, I’m getting the payment form now. I guess it’s because I added PayPal in the Gateway section? I thought that the purchase form would automatically be there there…

    Yeah, now I see IDC Account Links. I think I’m just going to stick with the 500 theme now. Thanks, sorry for any inconvenience.
