First of all, we just wanted to thank all of you that have joined us for the IgnitionDeck pre-order launch. I know it sounds cliche, but we really wouldn’t be here without your support.
So far, we’ve received a lot of great feedback, and some great questions. Today, I’d like to answer a few of them, and share a few new and exciting details with you.
First, the exciting details!
1. Though IgnitionDeck comes with 4 free themes, we’re also developing a custom theme for pre-release buyers only, which means that if you choose to support the development of IgnitionDeck in the next few days, you’ll get this exclusive theme free of charge to show others that you not only supported IgnitionDeck, but you did so proudly.
2. Many of our early supporters have told us they’d love to help test the software, and we think that’s a great idea. Who better to provide feedback than your best fans? Therefore, we’re going to provide a special opportunity to get an advanced copy of IgnitionDeck to those interested in helping us with a bit of bug reporting, feedback, and QA testing. If you buy today, you’ll get that opportunity.
3. We’re giving all of our pre-release buyers a lifetime developer license, which means you can use IgnitionDeck on as many sites as you wish (even for client sites), and a lifetime of updates to the core product. This is a $60 savings!
4. We’re very close to having our affiliate system in place. If you join us for the pre-release, you’ll get a chance to make money on every friend you send to IgnitionDeck.
Now, the questions:
1. Can I use IgnitionDeck to create my own Kickstarter.
Though IgnitionDeck wasn’t designed to operate as a Kickstarter clone, an enterprising entrepreneur could probably make it work by using a multi-user WordPress installation and providing access to the plugin.
Currently, we can’t offer support for this installation type, but that doesn’t mean we would ignore feedback on how it works for you. If this is something you’re going to try, let us know – we’d love to hear your story.
2. Will IgnitionDeck support multiple products?
Absolutely. In fact, this is one of the key features we’re implementing over the next week. Using IgnitionDeck, you can manage multiple products via the IgnitionDeck control panel, including separate widgets, email settings, and product levels.
